superior performance with a lightweight design at just 16.5 pounds,
this bagless upright vacuum cleaner offers powerful cleaning throughout
the home, from top to bottom. The unit's five-position carpet-height
adjustment allows for effectively cleaning of all floor types. The
patented WindTunnel technology features air passages that help maintain
suction power and traps dirt and channels it into the dirt cup-- which

I've been using my Hoover Windtunnel for a couple months now, and I think I've put it through its paces pretty well; I've used it to clean areas behind and under furniture which hadn't gotten a good cleaning in years. Within the first week I got it, I had used it almost non-stop for more than an hour on some heavily soiled and really dusty carpet areas without any problems. Even on carpets that otherwise looked clean, I was amazed at how much was picked up in the first few uses!

After consulting Consumer Reports I decided to buy this Hoover vacuum
cleaner which arrived promptly and was easy to assemble. The item works
as promised and is good on cat hair of which we have plenty. It is
also much better than older models on bare floors in that it does not
spray around dirt as our previous model did. Its lighter and more
maneuverable for an upright than I expected.
The hose and
extensions for vacuum without the brush are somewhat short but since it
does the bare floors well, this is not a big item. The hose is
convenient for cleaning couches and chars.
There is little reason to spend hundreds more on a vacuum.

The Hoover WindTunnel is less expensive than other branded vacuum
cleaners---it does the same thing, only better. I am very pleased with
this machines capabilities as a whole, I am only a little less satisfied
by the tool feature, which doesn't do as well as I had had expected
(stairs). All in all, I would purchase 10 times over because the great
outweigh the not so Great amazing.
